M.O.C: SIGNS CONTRACT LANDING INTERNATIONAL SUBMARINE CABLE GBI FORCOMMUNICATIONS WITH INT.GULF BREDGTE COMPANY. 

    The M.O.C signed with GBI First one in the Middle East to operate submarine cables in QATOR a contract landing first INT. cable for submarine communications in Iraq with regional investments. The new cable will connect Iraq with Arab GULF region & rest of the world through high efficiency network of modern fiber optical cables which reached region to Europe across western route (ITALIA). AND Asia across Eastern route (INDIA).

  The Iraqi delegation represented by high Excellency the engineer Farooq Abdel Qader the Iraqi communications minister showed in his speech the signing this contract comes according to the objective of the M.O.C to build strong infrastructure supporting development in all state sectors through construction network for communications contribute in connect & decrease the digital gap among state sectors in addition to boost Iraqi economical relations and data with all Arab Gulf countries and world countries.

The director general of I.T.P.C Dr. QASSIM HUSSANY, said big 7 positive step will help to ensure and easier INT. traffic indoor &outdoor  calls of state, this is will led to improve level services which submitted by I.T.P.C for citizen .

The executive manger of INT. GULF BRIDGATE company, the engineer AHMAD MAKY, the landing cable GBI submarine with high capacities & speed in Iraq important step to provide modern technologies in Int, submarine cables for all Arab Gulf countries.

International Thirty Ninth Contest for Writing Letters to Youth In 2010

In order to support the youth in writing the letters and improve their efficiency and styles, and contribution in enhancing international friendship. Annually, launch international contest for writing letters to youth adopted by international postal union, ALUNSCO organization under new title have chosen early every year and circularized it on all bodies and postal institutions over the world.

 The directory of post and saving one of the forms of the I.T.P.C launched international Thirty Ninth contest in Iraq for writing letters to youth in 2010 organized by international postal union under title ( write a message to someone tell him the importance talk on ( AIDS ) disease and combat it.  

 They allocated rewards & prizes for the First Third winners by directory of post & saving as well as grant all participants certificates of appreciation and send the letter of the First winner to the international union to participated in international contest and stated the deadline to receipt the letters on15 / 2 /2010.

M.O.C SIGNS BETWEEN IRAQ & EYGPT IN COMMUNICATIONS & POST FIELD

  The Iraqi M.O.C signed memorandum of understanding in communications & post sector with ARBIAN EYGPT according to the interview between the minister of communications Engineer Farooq Abdel Qader with Egyptian general consular Mr. Hashim Sabery in his office in headquarter.

 The meeting discusses means of cooperation between Iraq and Egypt in communications & post field especially in development Iraqi post and get benefit study curriculums from Egyptian post institute to develop high institution of communications & post in Iraq. 

 The countries express willingness in encourage Egyptian  companies  to invest in communications & post field in Iraq , and activate the cooperation between the countries in this vital sector in order to develop services of communications, post & internet submitted to the people.

Install new exchange in Basrha with high rate of lines fixing

The technical and engineering stuff in the directorate of communications and postal in Basrah has installed new modern exchange in Basraha with a capacity of 5000 lines in Al-andulos Qu. After the hard work continued to 40 days. And the maintaining and fixing rate to the PTNS 100% n Amkassir, Abu Akhaseeb, Takha, Alfaw, Alzubair, Iz Aldeen Saleem and Safwan and in Alahar the rate is 80% by fixing 31 cabinets and 125 posts, and in Alanduls the rate is 65 %, other word a contract to implement Al-hussain NGN exchange with modern properties depends on the optical fiber (access net) with optical cabinets with additional service and television service dealt with building and supporting commission of Basrha. That all behind to develop the communications sector in MOC and provide the people with great service.
